The Classroom
Preschool Classroom (2-6 years)
Daily Schedule:
Our preschool classroom integrates structured learning blocks with an emphasis on kindergarten readiness skills. A typical day consists of free choice/play centers, circle and small group activities, outside play, story time, rest/nap time (full day enrollment) and meal/snack times.

The Curriculum:
Our preschool classroom structure is guided by the CA preschool curriculum framework. This involves organizing learning around thematic units and daily center time, while also placing an emphasis on critical academic foundations, such as writing, literacy and numbers to ensure children are well-prepared for kindergarten.
Building upon weekly themes, preschool lessons delve into greater detail. Daily center time is incorporated alongside a stronger focus on writing, literacy, numbers, and other essential academic building blocks for kindergarten.
